Small Business in the season of Covid

While Covid-19 has taken its toll on all our lives for a year, t has taken a huge toll on small businesses. This is the worst economic crisis since 2007 to 2008, which was the worst economic crisis since The Great Depression in the 1930s.

What can business owners do during these tough times to survive? The first thing to do is create a plan for both the short term and the long term. These plans should be financial, personally, for your business, for your clients. Be sure to make a budget. Most importantly keep serving your clients and most of all your community. Be a leader. Make your business the shining beacon on the hill that your community admires and respects.

People don’t just want to buy products. They want to buy into people who run the businesses. Be radical and take practical action. Don’t shut down, don’t be afraid! Keep marketing your business on social media and Zoom. Create social media groups, hold create live events and online events. If you own a physical business make sure that you explain to your customers how you can keep them as safe as possible during the pandemic while they are in your business.

This holiday season spread some cheer in a year that we all need some.
